Epson All in One Printer - 1 year and 13 days old!

I purchased from Epson themselves by telephone, an All in One printer that had been reconditioned for £69.99, but came with an Epson one year guarantee.
One year and thirteen days later it refused to pick paper up correctly, so I took it to the nearest Epson Repair Centre for them to look at.
They told me there would be a small charge, £14.00, for this.
Anyway now they tell me the part is obsolete and impossible to get anywhere!
I rung the Repair Centre up and they said that Epson will 'honour the guarantee', so I expected a replacement AIO printer.
"No". I was told. "If Epson manage to source the parts anywhere it means you don't have to pay for the parts, or for fitting".
The only downer being after further talks with them is that I could be waiting 3 - 6 months or more!
Now I see it that "Honouring the guarantee", means replacement surely!
So I rang Epson UK and spoke to them.
No, what it means to them is they will allow me 10% off certain models, the dearest ones that are £100.00 or thereabouts.
Now is that legally correct?
Can someone offer advice please?
Many thanks, and sorry about the long thread.

As you're strictly out of the warranty, I think that what they have offered you is fair. They don't HAVE to do anything for you.
It's unfortunate that the parts for this model are rare, but these things do happen and they are trying to get hold of it for you.
While I personally don't feel like the service offered has been poor, if you do then just don't buy Epson again - vote with your feet!0
