New house, how to inform Utility company

Just completed the purchase of our first new house…

How do I change of the details of the new owner of the property for the Gas, Electricity, Water etc….

Is there a quick and easy way to do this?

Also, if we decide to have a new supplier for the gas, elect, and water… how does the switchover process work?

    Yes - call them :)

You need to register with all existing utilities first. Once you have accounts set up with the gas & electric (they should be able to do that when you are on the phone to them), you can then apply to switch supplier.
Switching takes a minimum of 28 days.

...telephone and ISP (if you have one).

And I know they're not utilities, but don't forget to notify the council and TV licensing.

Easiest way to establish current suppliers is probably to ask previous owner.

Otherwise you'll need to start making some phone calls:

How to identify your electricity supplier

How to identify your gas supplier

The council will probably be informed by your solicitor, but no harm in telling them yourself.
They send you a bill pro-rata for the remainder of the year and usually an option to pay monthly, which will probably include payments in Feb & Mar to lower the monthly amount since it's only part of a year.

A few of the utilities also now have an online form on their website that you can use to tell them about moving home / change of details. Also some councils too (ours does). If you print of the page at the end you have something in writing proving you have informed them.
