    Yes, the Vectra was probably the last great used buy 'people's car'. My (prev model) one is going strong at about 130k miles but I know that the next major fault or MOT failure will scrap it - and I am always nervous about the mechanic's bill, unlike with the 1.8L Cavalier that preceded it which was 'cheap as chips' to maintain.
