I'm here! Morning Elli and Bookie, and everyone who follows.
I'm seeing my MH outreach worker this afternoon. Then I've got Italian, a meal out with ex (in hindsight betting him a meal out that Leeds would beat Liverpool was never going to go my way!), then driving to Skegness to pick sister up after her shift.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Blimey its quiet...
Im at workalthough its a beautiful day outside so that always puts a smile on my face! Got to go into town this afternoon to buy a present for a b'day party B is going to on Sunday and also get some cotton so I can finish sewing some christmas presents. Not a lot else on, will probably take B to playpark if it stays sunny

I have had my coffee on the deck - very refreshing out there at 7.30!
My car was frozen over.
Today I am going to the big shopping centre off the M1. They are having a recruitment 'fair' for Christmas staff. Maybe I can get a temp job with M&S.
Meeting DD1 and little man there.
I have to go to County Office later to sort out Saturday and then we have a meeting later. At least it saves me putting on the heating!0 -
Morning all,
I've got an hour to kill before my next lecture and no idea what to do. Think I'll just mess about on here for a bit...

Morning all
Looks gorgeous out there today. Need to get to the uniform shop that's about 18 miles away so off to play with the buses (get's me out for a bit too). DH took some new tablets last night - spaced isn't the word, didn't help painwise or sleep wise though...think he will spend the majority of the day dozing.
Lou - so sad to read about your moggy.
Bookie - Good luck at the recruitment thingy - I got a xmas temp job that way and stayed on and worked my way up.
Sally have you made any more monkies? I brought some baby socks in the pound shop yesterday, going to try and make keyring sized ones...eeek!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

for a 2.5 litre slow cooker:
25g butter
100g pudding rice
100g sugar
1 litre milk
grated nutmeg
for 4.5 litre slow cooker
40g butter
150g pudding rice
150g sugar
11/2 litres milk
grated nutmeg
Butter inside of the crockpot, add all ingredients and cook for 4/5 hours depending on how thick you want it.
I use nutmeg powder, you know the stuff you get in spice jars... can also add raisins, sultanas etc.
Tis yummy x"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
