Does anyone gets theses calls about 10 times a day.

computerized calls about loans etc..roflmfao

Phone rings I say hello then a computerized voice says hello blah blah.

Iam sure they only respond to the sound of your voice..its like i picked up the phone i said nothing they said nothing.I said HELLO they started to speak I screamed !!!! OFF!!! and put the phone down.:T

Try following the options to have them remove your number. I don't think shouting obscenities at a recorded message is going to help you.

TPS you can add your number, it should stop any cold calls

we are registered with telephone preference agency and have witheld numbers barred, although it stops the majority of unwanted calls it cant stop calls from abroad which is were some of these nuisance calls come from.

I'm being plagued by these just now, one or two a day, especially the one where 'your captain is calling to tell you you've won a cruise'. They obviously come from abroad so being registered with TPS has no effect.

Hopefully this is just a 'batch' of calls and they will stop soon.

The other frequent automatic call is one to credit card customers asking if they are aware charges are increasing and you could change cards.

yes we have had the captain calling!used to get regular calls trying to sell us mobile phones up to ten a day.i tried reasoning with them, getting annoyed with them,nothing worked until my son answered and put on a foreign accent pretended he couldnt understand english. after about half hour the nuisance caller gave up, and hey presto we have had no more calls off them. if nothing else it gave us some amusement listening to the nuisance getting more and more frustated with the wrong answers my son was giving!
