Item Not Received Yet

Hi, i bought 2 pairs of shoes from a business seller on Ebay. I received the first pair within a week but the second pair hasn't arrived. Its been over 2 weeks since i have ordered them now. They are both for my wedding which is in 3 weeks so time is wearing thin and i am getting slightly worried as it has taken me ages to find a suitable pair for my rather awkward bridesmaid.

I emailed the seller and told them i would go to the PO to ask if it was there as i got a note through my door asking me to collect my first pair (which i did). They thanked me for letting them know. I went to the PO but they weren't there. I emailed the seller again and told them that they weren't there. I didn't get a reply but i did get an email asking me to leave feedback as they had done when i paid for it (I think this was a automated thing though).

I don't know what is going to happen. Will they refund me or will they send me out a replacement pair. I know that they will definately be fine as apart from the colour they are the same as the ones i ordered for myself and my bridesmaid has tried them on and she was happy with them.

I would love to send them an email asking them what is going to happen as i can't wait, i haven't much time now. I don't want to sound cheeky or pushy though. Any suggestions?

Of course you must email them - it's not a question of being pushy. You paid for them, and you haven't got them. I think you may be being too reasonable. I take it from what you said that you have only had one notification from RM, not 2?

Yes i only got one notification from them but to be honest i don't know whether it said to collect one or two parcels. I never do, i just trundled down to collect it but there was only one parcel on the shelf anyway.

Definately contact the seller and explain that two weeks have passed and you are yet to receive your second pair of shoes. Mention that your wedding is only a few weeks a way and you're getting a little anxious about the shoes not arriving. Were they being sent via standard delivery or via a trackable method?

They were only being sent by first class. I got a postage discount for buying two pairs. They do offer recorded and special but only really advocated this if the item was over £30. Should have known better. They weren't expensive but i should have paid extra for the security but the postage was so cheap anyway....a sucker for a bargain me.
