I was informed the other day that Dwr Cymru (Welsh Water) can reduced your water bill and cap it at a total of £250 for this year back dated to 1st April if you are on a particular Benefit and recieve Child Benefit for 3 or more children under the age of 19 living in the house. It also caters for people with an illness that require an additional amount of water to be used. The site is dwrcymru.com, click on householder customer and then on the right hand side of the page to Water Assist. There you will be able to print off an application form and all details about it. I have applied for this myself and received £260 off of my annual bill.

I hope you can pass this on to other customers of Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water.
