Anyone used hotsneakers.co.uk?
I just ordered some Air Jordan shoes from them. They are sold out everywhere in the UK stores and are £20 less than what they normally sell for! When I got the confirmation email it has a gmail address in it. Plus all the currencies were a bit messed up when I was going through the credit card payment forms. It was changing between ££ and $$. I did a search for the email address and it came up with other half websites and another called
kanyewestshoes.us
The address is: snakeea@gmail.com
There are blog posts made with this email address that are in two different names too..
Pretty sure I've been had. I paid with my egg credit card so hopefully that will provide some protection.
Any advice for me? Should I contact egg? I have checked my statement and nothing has gone out of my account.

I spoke to egg - turns out there has been a transaction for £49.10 from my account which is different from the cost of the shoes I wanted. Egg cannot tell me who the retailer is.
The chap on the phone had poor english and wasn't very helpful. He just said call back in the morning.
Now wondering if I'm gonna be able to get my money back....

Hi there i have just experienced the same problem with this company however i have been able to contact them for a returns address, i went to a website billingcustomersupport.com and you fill the on screen prompts and they replied to this. I am sending the trainers back tomorrow as i explained to them that the incorrect pair had been sent as they were not the same as the picture ordered from. just going to keep fingers crossed that i get a refund back to my account once they receive them in the mean time i have made my bank aware of what has happened.
hope this helps in some way0 -
Thanks' for your post - I have received fake shoes today. I think i'll talk to my credit card company first. Its so hard to tell that they are fake they are extremely good copies. There are videos on youtube.com that guide you how to spot fakes.0

The trainers i got were really bad fakes the front is peeling off and the air max sign is stitched in blue and half of it is underneath the other leather so can't even see half of it. The air max sign is meant to be black rubber. The sole is like hard sponge. But the picture on the website is the genuine trainer so really they haven't sent what i ordered. I also got another response from them after my prompt, confiming that a refund will be given once they are returned so i have some sort of paperwork to show my bank if this doesn't happen. thanks for the webiste feed hope things get sorted for you and i'll let u know if i get my refund.0

I ordered from this site for my boyfriends christmas
i ordered nike sb dunks in "brown ale" they are meant to be designed like the newcastle brown ale label ....brown red and blue
well, one of the shoes was (roughly) correct colours but the other had a GREEN sole!!! the nike ticks were off and the outline on them was painted on!!
they were slightly peeling and one shoe was stitched woth brown thread and the other blue....

I've just registered so I can tell my story...
I bought a pair of Nike trainers from hotsneakers. I didn't check for a trading address, telephone number or that the refund links actually work. My first mistake in nine years of online shopping.
The manager of the running department in NikeTown, London, confirmed that they are fakes. I was sure they were, that's why I took them there to be checked. I bought them for marathon training, so they are of no use as they don't have the proper cushioning. Even cosmetically, they are a poor imitation (I own a real pair of the trainers already).
I have contacted the site numerous times via their email addresses, but have had no reply.
If you want cheap, low-quality copies of trainers that are no use for running, then fuel their bank account. Me? I'm still trying to get my money back and I'll be doing my best to alert people to the fraudulent behaviour of hotsneakers.co.uk0
