I have a 16-25 railcard and someone told me that if I buy a off peak ticket it is valid on peak travel due to the special powers of the 16-25. Is this just a chinese whisper or does it have some grain of truth? Ty guys
I always tell the truth. Even when I lie.

Off Peak Tickets purchased with a Y-P railcard are valid on peak trains on Virgin Trains services. This is the same for all other railcard discounted tickets also.
I think Virgin is the only company to offer this.0
