Just received the Asda credit card bill for this month which shows an interest charge has been added to the bill despite the the fact that the bill also shows that the balance has been paid in full and on time and as it is each month.
Called India (on 020 8181 0000 number which is an alternative number obtained from "saynoto0870.com" which provides alternative numbers to the 0871 number provided on the rear of the bill for account querys) to be informed that this is a computor error that they are aware of and will be reimbersed next month!
Needless to say i will be adjusting payment accordingly leaving the "interest" in my account rather than thiers.
Wonder how much interest they (Santander) stand to make out of unsuspecting customers this month that they should not be making on monies held, anybody know if such behavior is monitored by the authorities?

These things happen. Fingers crossed it gets rectified quickly! When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0

Same thing here. Interest of £0.76 charged 15.10.09 but no indication yet of any 'adjustment' on online statement. I can see this getting a bit messy....I wonder how widespread this is?0
