Update, I emailed a customer service manager at Samsung and explained the situation, he replied within hours of me sending the email, stating that the machine would be exchanged and he would arrange for someone to phone me, they did indeed phone again within hours, so I am very pleased with the outcome.
The machine will be delivered within 7 days.
