Editing a listing!

I have a jacket for sale at the mo, no bids on it at present. My question is, because i was unsure of certain aspects of the jacket material/size(no tag) i wrote that if a buyer was not satisfied i would offer a refund. Was i correct in that or should i have put down what i knew & let the buyer(if any) make up its own mind.
Would it be exceptable to ebay to edit my listing & remove the bit about refund. Any replies gratefully received.
if i had known then what i know now

Sure, if you have had no bids and have got more than 11 hours go ahead and amend it.

Personally, I always tread very carefully in terms of ruturns.Opens up a whole new can of worms

    Hope this helps
  • i would just write all i know, it is correct that you can revise listing as long as no one has bidded and if you have over 12 hours left, if someone doe bid and you remember something you cant 'revise' but you can ADD extra information at the bottom of your listing.... dont mention returns as most people know a scam or two themselves anyhow if they need to return it....
