aaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Why do student finance applications have to be so complicated????

I've just got an email from student support direct asking me to supply my evidence (birth certificate etc) So I logged on and it says I need to send them to my local authority. Well my LA are currently part of the SFD pilot scheme so I sent my evidence to the pilot scheme address. I phoned the LA to tell them, they told me to phone SFD. So I've phoned SFD they say I have sent it to the right address, so why does the website tell me otherwise then???
AAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!

I can see this is gonna be one of those days. No hang on, it's been one of those weeks ....

I know what you mean... ive been a student now for 4 years.. every year SFD come up with something new that i haven’t completed or sent to them.. i had to wait 4 months last year after the start of term before they managed to tell me that i haddent signed something.. I phoned them every day as well with new excuses ... if i didn’t need the support so much .. sigh ...

i remember (about 8 years ago now) going to collect my froms from the council office and to get back my passport, birth certificate (plus english translation), certificate of registration as a british citizen and drivers license, but being asked to provide some form of identification before they could give it to me

i got them to look at the photos and compare them to me.........glad to hear the system is as efficient and sensible as ever!

try not to go mad - i think it's a way to save money - only people who really really need it are prepared to jump through so many hoops!
