It really isnt worth it , the baords unless they are hardwood will bruise with everyday life and the gaps fill up with gunk.
Get a quality hardwood laminate , the price wont be much more expensive if diy.It will most likely outlast you.
If not interested in the hardwood lam cos of the price and definately want to sand soft pine then hire the gear yourself , wear protection and defenders(ears).Get on your knees and do a nail inspection , the sheets on the sander are expensive.0
