car radio unlocking code

Hi Can anyone help, I have just bought a s/hand Peugeot 306 car with a radio that I cant use as it needs the unlocking code.:confused:

I have the following information
It's a Clarion
Model number PU-157OC
Serial No: CL0339X0308533
Barcode No: C70000004134

    Why didn't you check the radio worked before you bought the car? :confused:

    Have you asked the seller for the code? :confused:

    Perhaps the car/radio wasn't exactly "bought"? :confused:

    What car auction was that that wouldn't allow you to check over a car you planned to bid on? :confused:
