I went in to buy the black one yesterday and came out with all 3! I am an 'ample' 16 but definitely needed the 18 to close comfotably across the bust. I think they are very flattering on, and the black one looks amazing with my pink and black stripy scarf and gloves. All set for winter now :)

How do these coats fit? I'm a bit top heavy, always have difficulty finding a coat that doesn't flap around at the bottom leaving me frozen and looking generally foolish!
    I generally lurk :0)

To be fair they are really more of a jacket. Mine sits just below my bum, and I'm only 5'2". I am what you would call top heavy too, but find they are nicely fitted at the waist and sit snugly round my tummy and hips. Maybe they were just made for me as I've heard other people say they look unflattering on them, but I am really chuffed with them. I usually struggle to get a nice warm winter jacket/coat that fits everywhere.

I got the purple one instore today - the girl in front of me in the queue was also buying the same one and lots of people were trying them on!

I found the 8 fitted well overall though slightly snug but I'm only 5ft so it fitted snug around the hips as I'm probably a bit short for it (if I was taller it wouldn't hit the hips so much). The 10 however looked far too big so an inbetween size would be better but I think I can move the buttons across if I put on any weight! Overall the smaller size was a better general fit and someone commented as I was trying it on that it looked nice.

It is as someone else mentioned, more of a thick jacket than a coat but I think it's a great buy and nice enough to wear out or to work.

I liked the black one too but I just restricted myself to the one!

Thanks for this thread or I wouldn't have seen it :)

I bought the grey check coat last Saturday, good quality.

I still have the black £15 coat from last year so I think I am sorted for winter.
