    Hi Everyone
I am loving Boots again, last time I ended up with so many Rosies I had to give up and stop myself from buying stuff! It really would not be a No7 bargain if I really didn't want it or had 3 of them already!!! Worst of all if I found anything under £5 I would buy more stuff to get ANOTHER voucher so not really money saving LOL

After a brief stint of cold turkey from Boots and their lunches - I was having one every day, £15 a working week!! I am back and armed with goldies.

While looking on these threads I got a really good idea from someone's sig saying they are saving £1 a day for £100 Xmas sales.....well it is 60 days until Xmas so I am going to try this so I have £60 for sales.......

.......so as a bit of a newbie to all this money saving malarkey, (I have never really been stupid with money but have had a few years of doing without anything I like when I couldn't find it affordably...) I only have one question of course......... WHEN is the Boots 75% sale? :D:D :D

    Thanks in advance!!!!! x

The last 75% off sale was on wednesday 14th January :)

Thank you, Sue Oh, I shall try and report back. Can always say I don't want it because (true) duty free it's £50 and it's only worth buying it in Boots if I get the points.

Edit: Will wait to do this. Have just found that last year at the first Christmas evening some people got a till spit offering another 500 points wys £50 on one of the later christmas evenings. If I get one of them, it will be better to buy the perfume at the later Christmas evening as that way I'd get 2552 points back.

Twinkle & ShopnDrop, yes you can use coupons with someone else's name on it. They work and I've only had it queried once and then I simply said they were given to me. (And am sometimes shopping for neighbour, using her coupons and then I just tell them that.) But I think your card might 'know' when the double points coupon has been used twice -- not sure, but be warned.

Wife has received a letter from boots davntage card for 1200 points for every £50 spend (dont know it you get 2400 for £100 in one transaction) at the xmas evenings ...which start this week.

hey, have some vouchers for no7, are there any readily avalable products that are under or around the £5 mark? spent £35 pounds today, got more baby things, given about 150 points, got 3 carex and 2 radox all at £1 each, baby nappies on offer, and because I split the basket down in to around £5 amounts, got given 4 no7 vouchers. Win!

Thank you so much!! When do the high street jan sales start in general? Over last few years I have seen some boxing day sales etc but that seems to be more DIY etc. When do New Look, Topshop and the like start their sales i.e. when would be best to take a day off work, take a deep breath and go bargain shoppin????

I think Sally06 has posted a list on this thread somewhere of items to buy that are priced around £6 and under :)
  • Does the 'spend £50 get 1000 points' happen on line too??

I bought the mascara that you got the free eyeshadow with, and the eyeshadow is amazing but the mascara is utter carp. it just clumped all my lashes together. would not have been happy if i'd paid £11.50!

Does anyone know if the codes for 500 extra points when you spend £50 online typically work on the day you get 1200 points for spending £50? If so, you could spend £50 online and get £15 back on your card. Not to mention, if you bought other items that come with added points for purchase, you could really rack up the points. Not sure what there is right now that's tempting and has extra points, though.
