Sorry if this has already been mentioned but can anyone confirm what the full offer is on this one?

It's 200 points when you buy one pack AFAIK.
Have I got this right - effectively 200 points (worth £2.00) for a £1.78 spend, plus you get the paracetamol, plus a goldie if you buy 3 at a time?

    Hi everyone,
Just to let you know that in my local Boots the Vidal Sassoon brushes and combs have all been reduced by lots. I got the large radial brush, large paddle brush and double sided comb for just over £5 for the lot - so earnt a goldie too. One brush alone usually costs £7. The Trevor Sorbie brushes were also reduced to similar prices.

Don't know whether this is nationwide - still full price on .com.

    HTH someone x
  • Yay!! Just ordered some S&G stuff and the davidoff cool water for women, for a grand total of £12 something!

Are people still getting the R&M 750 points vouchers from the machines? I'm going to pop into Boots tomorrow. Hope I get one!

Also, the 250 points voucher from the magazine - do they scan it and give it back to you or do you have to keep getting new vouchers from the mag?
  • Hiy guys
I've been reading this thread for the past week or so and I must be totally thick but I just don't get it.

I could really really do with some more points.

I don't suppose some kind soul could take pity on me and pm me with a bit more info

Thank you so much in advance

    It's over!

Last week I visited a large city centre Boots. I had it all carefully planned out - I'd got my 250 H&B mag coupon, I'd check the ACM for the 750 points on R&M and I might even spend £5 on stuff I "needed" to get a blinkie/pinkie/goldie or whatever. Then I'd have 2 new lippies and gazillions of points for very little outlay. I tracked down the R&M display (no prices on the lipsticks), I could see the ACM machine. At this point common sense took over. I do not need any more lipstick. Ever. I have enough to last me for the rest of the days. Suddenly I could not be bothered to search out the clearance section or to risk possible humiliation at the check out. My long term addiction to Boots was finally over!

What has brought about this sad state of affairs? Partly it is due to the demise of the wonderful Boots Grabbit thread, but also because there have been no worthwhile glitches since Boots was taken over. And then there are points. Spend £25 on overpriced goods I probably don't even need and get £1 back to spend on more of same. Some bargain! Why am I starting to feel exploited?

Before I discoverd the Boots thread I rarely shopped in there, in part because some of the assistants were, erm, less than helpful. Also because most of the goods Boots sell can be obtained more cheaply, not just from supermarkets but also Superdrug and other cut price chemists. Some of Boots products are (whisper it) not very good i e No 7 nail polish. I couldn't even find anything of interest in the Xmas catalog so will not bother with the 75% off sale.

It's been fun and I have had some amazing bargains but it's over for Boots and me. But I'll probably still check out the clearance now and agin!
