    Hi,
I'm new and have managed to work out most of the abbreviations by reading through previous posts, but can't work out what SEL is?

    Can anyone help please.

    Thanks so much

Hey karenx....HAPPY BIRTHDAY huns!!!! First I've had a chance to get on today :D Hope you got spoiled :D

I used my last 3 vouchers today on much needed No7 goodies. Thank god I was well enough to drag myself out of my bed although the sales assistant did advise me to get back into it after she heard me cough. All chuffed though as treated myself to the gorgeous purple nail polish over and above the usual moisturisers n make up I needed.

    Hugs

Hi cc i have got these in the past, but beware i got a lovely rash from them and then when i returned them the sa said she had the same problem with them. My skin isn't paticularly sensitive but i believe a few people reported these as being a bit harsh on the skin, hth

    Nab

    xx

I was about to post something similar, lol. Using these wipes stung (I'd say burned, really, though no rash) so I returned them. That was last year, so I don't know if you can still use the facial vouchers on them.

Just remember to keep using that acm card every time you're in Boots - even if you're only buying something for £1. The more you use your acm card, the more offers you'll get from the ACM in future :D.

Sadly, this is not true in my case

I rarely get more than the comps at the acm now and I'm no longer worthy of the mailings & vouchers.

I've had my AC for years - in fact SAs say they rarely see my sort of card anymore. Boots clearly doesn't have much time for loyal customers.

  • Hi, nikinackyloo.

    Oooooo......the intrigue!!!

Hmmm. Well...I suppose the best description for me is...ummm....a two year Bootser, but on a pretty small scale (only eight R&M lipsticks ).

Been using the MSE site about the same length of time. Never posted anything until last month. Now there's no stopping me!

    Fond memories of Boots thread....

I got the Abbreviations list from there, and it was posted by broclo.
Of course, they may have got it from CPG!

Regarding the next points evenings, Newcastle/Gatesheads are 11th and 12th November :j
    Hi,

Was near Durham on Thursday. Arniston Centre Boots have loads of new H and B magazines.
Used my last goldie there, on No 7 white tip nail varnish (for the french manicure look).

Can't believe I went (slightly) out of my way to visit this Boots when I've got half a dozen on my doorstep. But, I did find out one thing.
I used their ACM and it offered me exactly the same things that I get in Newcastles ACMs. I thought different stores might have different offers.

Looks like I've caught the Boots Bug.
Is there a cure? (Hmmm, not sure I want to be cured:rolleyes:)

    Hth.

I'd say after two years you may just have caught the bug small scale or not :D

    Hth.
  • Ooh, possible freebie here with voucher:

Olay Total Effects Hand Treatment 50ml - £4.99, so free after voucher?

Looks like it'd make a nice present http://www.boots.com/en/Olay-Total-Effects-Hand-Treatment-50ml_1509/

Hi! The voucher does not work on this item as it is not facial skincare.
Thank you to everyone that contributes on these pages!
