Today however i decided to try out the 342 on mens no7 for hubby and grabbed 2 face scrubs and a moisturiser also collecting the gwp. Went to the youngest cashier on the desk in Solihull i was already flustered from trying to park in an awkward disabled bay in the side street and from the hustle and bustle of xmas shoppers in store and threw items onto desk huffing and puffing. She accepted the transaction no questions asked and i felt like a teenage shop lifter having made of with my hoard, Hubby couldnt see what the problem was until i told him about the glitch and replied i was daft not getting anymore goldies lol.
Thanks to all for your tiem and effort in posting.
Well done stef on your "bargains". It can be a heart stopping moment when you are at the tills and you are about to hand over your purchases and vouchers etc. Sometimes I feel like im commiting a crime lol. Noticed your sig so belated CongratulationsYour fooling no one bar yourself.0 -

That's totally out of order HighlandLass, you are fully entitled to the GWP. The items should be from the No 7 Bathing range (in the peachy coloured boxes).
I would suggest you go into your store again, ask to speak to the Manager, and say you've checked with Customer Services, and this is perfectly correct, and that you were made to feel uncomfortable.
I did the Sumptuous Trio today, and GWP, then presented my points, then the Goldie, and finally paid the balance. Alas, some of the SAs make up their own rules!
For London Bootsers: Liverpool Street's GWPs are 399, so are Bond Street Station and Oxford Street but not at Sedley Place or Piccadilly!!:j Those were 409.
None of the bags I picked up had a plastic tag, so I don't think the coupons were removed, they've just been omitted from 399. The SA at Oxford Street (all 399) unpacked stock straight from her box, and randomly checked 4 for me - no points at all.
With the Skinnies, these include Time Delay. and this
http://www.boots.com/en/Time-Delay-Wrinkle-Reduce-Daily-Serum-30ml_124366/
was on the shelves of some of the branches as £6, instead of £11.74.
We offered the Skinny, and the till beeped, so they over-rode it. The good thing was (for the over 60s), that the discount was like in the Good Ol' Days. The 10% came off first. then the voucher, so we got it for 40p!!!! We got 8 between us!
In addition to all this excitement, we:
1) Saw Clint Eastwood (well the back of his head, and his Director's Chair!) directing a film at Liverpool Street station ( we asked if they wanted a couple of extras, but they declined!)
2) Were hugged by Pudsey Bear in Boots Piccadilly and
3) Saw Lulu in John Lewis! She said "Hi!!" so I went
we-e-e-e-e-e-ell!!!! You know you make me wanna Shout!
She clapped me, gave me a big hug, and then autographed a photo for me. She also sprayed me with her new perfume, I asked if I could have a free bottle but she said she wasn't allowed

I managed this 3 times today and used a 250pts voucher, and it wasn't queried. I didn't go to the No7 counter though. If you manage to get a SA to put it through, don't forget to pick up your free gift bag as well. If you have SS tills near you that may be best way to do it.Good luck

would this work?
buy the foundation compact £13.50,hair trimmer £7.49 and something to take it over £22 get gwp,
use the 250 points from gwp, double points I got in the post,£5 off foundation and goldie?0 -

£7.50 ish?
hth
Remember ladies, half price No7 electricals work for getting the No7 GWP - the till sees the full price. So if the No7 heated eyelash curlers are £7.50 half price, the till sees £15 - so add other No7 items to the value of at least £7, and the GWP will go through free. If you can do this tomorrow, and you have a goldie to spend as well, you'll get the whole lot for £9.50.
Don't use No7 gift sets or electricals to make up the £7 spend though, as your goldie can't be used on those.0 -

Is the hair trimmer half price at the moment? If it is, you won't have to add anything to your 2 items to get the GWP, because the till sees the full price of the No7 electricals for the qualifying spend (even though it actually charges you the correct half price).
Thats a pretty good deal then - £20.99, GWP, minus £5 foundation voucher and £5 goldie. Your double points will only be on the actual amount you spend though won't they ie £10.99 worth doubled? The 250 points should work fine too.

Thanks so much,am going to buy the hair trimmer £7.49 and hopefully the foundation if I can get the new h&m,but if I can't thats great to know I can just get something for £7.01 and get gwp (which I really want).
and If I get the h&m I now don't have to find something to take it over the £22 now I know the hair trimmer will go through at £14.99!0 -
