Yay I double quoted. Anyway I also thought that this couldnt be done and also you usually dont get another voucher back when you pay with points

Your right. I work for Boots. 110% the till will not let you use a voucher if paying with points, and yu dont get a voucher when paying with points. I read the post myself and the OP is either confused, or lying. Sorry but I know the tills and this can not be done.

  • Thanks Karenx and minimoneyme for your replies. Would probably cost me as much in fuel to get to Straiton as I would save in cash so not sure it would be worthwhile going there! Wonder if I should try again at Livingston tomorrow but with a different SA  Seems like a really good bargain if only I can get it to work and does seem weird if they're the only branch not doing it!

Is the branch at a station? If so they might not have the offer

First of all, well done Mollie for double quoting!!!! :T Nicole sweetie, as you work for Mr B, could you please shed some light on a confusing point. Some peeps are saying that next week's offer is the No 7 Ultimate Collection, and it is half price/a third off/3 for 2/not 3 for 2.

Others are saying it's a Special Protect & Perfect Collection, not in the brochure, and it's anyone's guess what the price is.

I've emptied my piggy bank in readiness for the Christmas Points Evening on Thursday, and I have a list for that, but would willingly show Dirty Ol' Men my bunion, for £1 a peep, :rotfl:in order to collect enough for a P & P Collection - for me!

Do I need to prepare my bunion yet for viewings? Thank you!

    xx

Hi - no it's not - it's a pretty big store in the middle of a shopping centre.

When my boy was a really young baby and undernurished the HV didn't know what she was talking about so I went to Boots for my baby food and I managed to get some babyfood & milk with coupons and points plus tripple points back.

    Ditto.

I think it's worth clarifying that Boot don't give points on infant milk. I wouldn't want anyone to be disappointed, or embarassed at the tills because they thought that they could/should get points on this.

    what is going on?
    people are strange eh?
  • Hi everyone - newbie here : )

Just wanted to say that I found some of the elusive discontinued R&M lipsticks in High Street Kensington, London branch this evening. They hadn't been there before when I'd popped in during the past couple of weeks bargain hunting.

There are four different colours in two plastic pots on the top of the unit. The purple coloured ones are still full price but the brown and orangey coloured ones are 2.75 each (around a dozen or so of each of these left a couple of hours before closing time this evening) - and a pinky coloured one 1.66! (only two left).

I hope this is helpful to someone. I've taken advantage of some really good deals during my six months or so of 'lurking' time and thought it was time to join in!

Only if KarenX says so. She is BIG, I mean BIG in Boots stuff. She is awesome. If she says pink - they say how pink?

Always check with Karen X what you do. x

Why is she the new "TinTin"
