basic credit card

hi all, i am looking for a credit card with a limit of around £300 that i will rarely use i am only looking it for the odd online purchase, i have had credit cards inthe past that have kept increasing their limit and chargeing me high interest rates thank god i got them paid off, if any one has any advice or cards that might suit me please let me know, thank you.

    You can ask for a reduced limit on any card!
    If you intend to repay in full every month I would go for a card that gives you something for free like cashback or points etc that can be converted to something useful later on.

    Why not go for a nationwide card as then you can use it for free if you go abroad. They used to do a cashback card but am not sure if they still do. I have a morganstanley card which gives 1% cashback for first £2000 the 0.5% after that which suits me as i dont spend nuch on the card in a year. Git about £30 back last year.

    Morganstanley offer 2% on purchases until September 2006 (on the first £2000 that is)
