Been in a crash and need some advice

Hi,

Was in a crash last week, wasn't my fault and the other party has accepted full responsibility. At the moment there doesn't someone seem to be any damage to my car although it might be worth it being checked over.

I am now recieving calls from a company that says they have been given my details by the other persons car insurance company to see if they can assist me. What is this? Do I need to deal with them? It just makes me a little nervous.

Also, as there seems to be no damage I have not informed my insurance. Do I need to?

Most insurance companies require you to inform them. It is wise to do so as other parties often change their story when they have thought it over. Was the admission of fault in writing?

Then I'd call them and say you'd like your car checked over. But be aware that if things start to get difficult and you involve your insurance company you could end up with less NCB.

you have a had a accident .. expect a land mine of cold callers this happened to me if you want your car looking over / inspecting either take it to a garage or get your insurance company involved ... realy you should get your insurance company involved.

tell the cold callers to get lost tell them you are dealing with it all and to take you off thier lists.
If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
