Hi all, I've recently been given a couple of Amazon online vouchers, consisting of an e-voucher to the value of £100. Now I would rather have the money to be honest. so was planning on putting them on ebay but does anyone know the best procedure for going about selling these? I have 2 for the value of £50 each.

You will have to send the codes by post (special delivery) as you cannot sell items that are emailed. Also if you did email them you would not be able to prove delivery so could be liable for non receipt claim and charge back0

You can't actually sell items that are sent by email or code so you would have to find a way of posting the codes out and making that clear in your listing.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Aye....that's what I was thinking really. Would it be as simple as printing out the e-certificate and sending that out special delivery so that it is signed for? That'd cover everything really wouldn't it.....?
I don't know whether people usually use this method for selling vouchers to be honest?0 -
Personally I would use them yourself and sell whatever you buy with them. The postage costs, ebay and paypal fees are going to leave you with very little if you sell codes.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You may get lucky and receive more than the face value for them! It does happen - something to do with covering your tracks when money laundering.
It always used to perplex me when vouchers sold for more than their face value on Ebay until the money laundering thing was explained to me.0
