Wed 7th October - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Good morning everyone....
to any new posters and big
to anyone feeling poorly/down ...or who just would like a hug;)
Off to Uni again for me today, quite looking forward to it now the scary first bit is out the way
So, here's today's list:
Have a lovely day everyone....rolling on to the weekend!

Morning Milly....and all other DFWs :j
Well, after a rough couple of days rowing with OH over our finances...I seem to be the only one in the house actually conscious of our spending.
*Made own lunch
*Using work's tea bags and sugar to save my own:T
*Going to put bridesmaid dress and table centrepieces on ebay tonight along with anything else I can find.:o
*Contemplating taking printer/scanner/copier combo thingy to cash generator on friday so that the spare room can finally be tidy.
*Already bought 4 Christmas presents for a knock-down price using ebay and Costco.:T
*Got pork escalopes out of freezer ready for tea tonight....may chop up and put in curry...
*Purse only has £1.06 in...so won't be spending anything
*Book Friday off work as car is being collected to go in for accident repair....bit of a pain as only put fuel in yesterday
*Chase up insurance rep about extra money that's been going out of account...chance to recoup £30.
*Attempt to understand daily clicks guide to hopefully get started.;)I am not a complete idiot - some parts are missing;)0 -

Morning all,
Been on a bit of a go slow this week, as I have had a horrid cold/flu thing (during my week off - typical ). Anyway, I feel a little bit better today so may venture out and do a little shopping.
I will/have also:
Checked online banking
See to animals / walk dogs later
Make a tagine with lamb that has been lurking in fridge for a couple of days, and freeze it
Leftover pasta for lunch
Make broccoli cheese for supper - like cauliflower cheese, but using the broccoli I have in the bottom of the fridge :rotfl:
I shall leave it at that - shall probably be exhausted as I haven't really done anything since Saturday
Have a nice day everyone!0 -
