JSA payment not in bank account yet after signing-on

My last sign-on was 30th Sept (Wednesday) - third sign-on. I always sign-on on a Wednesday. The past sign-on dates are: 2nd (frist sign-on) and 16th Sept (2nd sign-on). My next sign-on is next Wednesday. I understand that after signing-on on the specified date, it will take 3 working days for the money to reach the bank account. In my case, it will be a Monday. When I sign-on, the sign-on clerk alwayss checks my job log, give me a sheet to sign to proove that I've been to the JC to sign-on and no change of circumstances.
When I check my bank account yesterday and today, the money hasn't arrived yet. It's the first time, the payment hasn't reached my account. I've got money from the past sign-on dates (first and second sign-on's) though.
Should I wait until Friday to see if the money will come through? Or should I call the benefit enquries number ASAP?
Also, do you think the sign-on clerk forgot to 'authorise' the payment on the computer?

Just phone them, you have nothing to loose. The numbers are there for people to use paid for by the public purse of which we, those who pay taxes pay for. Also, do you think the sign-on clerk forgot to 'authorise' the payment on the computer?
It is possible. So phone and check on things now rather than waiting. If there is an arror the sooner its dealt with the better!!!When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

If they forgot to 'authorise' the payment on the computer, that means when I call, the staff on the computer won't see that I signed-on, since the sign-on staff forgot to input it on the computer?
I got physical proof that I signed-on though, such as the sheet they gave me to sign at the JC and in my job log (staff put signature in job log and the date of sign-on)0 -
Could just be the claim hasn't processed yet in which case the signing evidence can't be entered into the computer - have you been paid before?
Or it could be that the signing evidence wasn't entered as you say.
Or could be one of the wonderful quirks of JSAPS that occasionally just doesn't release payments - you'd be safest ringing to see what's going on.Who's going to fly your plane? / When you need to make your getaway....0 -
Its quite possible that the evidence wasnt input and that that is why the money hasnt gone in. I would check it with them ASAP just to make sure there is nothing more serious wrong.
If it is just missing evidence then they should be able to get you a payment sorted out, either on the day or into your account if you are content to wait.0 -
I called the Benefit Enquiries today. The Benefit Enquries staff said that they will pass my query to the local Job Centre, where they will call me back.
By the looks of it, the sign-on staff at the JC forgot to 'authorise' the payment on the computer.
Will provide updates when the JC call me later on today (hopefully).0 -
Got put through to an advisor in my local JC, and she put the payment through!
I can't believe they didn't action it when the Benefit Enquries staff sent an e-mail to the JC about my issue. Next time, I should just call my local JC instead.0
