What are my rights when internet site shows the wrong price

Hi, just purchased a freezer full of meat from an online web site, I abused the system as each cut of meat was showing as a pound, I emailed them about the problem but had no reply.
So I thought i'd have a go and buy, Its a legitimate company been trading in my town for years but the web site is new, they have sent me acceptance of my order and taken the funds from my account, but the prices are blatantly wrong. Where do i stand ?

Contract usually is not formed until despatch or delivery I'm led to believe.0

Check their t&c's.
If they've taken the money, you have a good chance of 'enforcing' the price.
It's a gray area if they say 'contract only formed on delivery'; I have a view that it's once the money is taken [my view remember, not a legal fact].
Good luck. I don't blame you for max-ing it since thay couldn'y be ar53d to reply to your email alerting them.0 -
Normally T&C's will say contract is only formed on dispatch of goods. If this is the case, they are quite entitled to refuse to supply and refund your money, assuming they notice the mistake before they ship the goods.0

The place you stand is thus -.
A) They don't notice the error and send you the meat = happy days.
They notice the error and refund you in 14-28 days = Boo.
C) They notice the error, don't send the meat and don't refund you until you kick up a fuss = Double boo.0 -
How do you stand if the site doesn't list any terms and conditions related to sales?
The e-mailed order details doesn't state or point to any either.
Surely this means the contract was formed at the point the funds were taken, it can't be "presumed" to be anything other can it?
I hope so, because it'll mean £500 worth of goods for £30 from a retailer who has previously messed me around with deliveries.0 -

Please re-red the posts above yours.... In particular, the one immediately above yours.
I'm sure you will be able to draw conclusions from them.0 -
as stated
then contract is formed whenever the t&C's stipulate, this is enforceable under law
if they dont stipulate any date you will have a good chance on going from the fact they have charged youBack by no demand whatsoever.0
