should I put a buy it now price?

I've just listed a cooker on ebay (on sunday) - it is a good one and I started it at 99p to generate interest. I've got about 35 watchers and some bids, and now I have had three separate buyers contact me to ask whether I would sell it to them on a buy it now price.
I'm a bit unsure what the best thing to do would be and I wondered if somebody with more experience could give me some advice on this.
Should I offer it as a buy it now, and if so, to which buyer? And for how much?!!
FYI - From my research, a similar cooker in make and model number sold for £260 in an auction in the last month. Is £300 reasonable - or should I go for £250? (I bought it new for £620 2 years ago, but can't use in my new kitchen so would appreciate recovering as much of the cost as possible!)
Or would I be better holding out for the auction, to see what I get?
Any advice is much appreciated.

You can email back each of the buyers with the £300 price you want (starting with the first asker and giving each a chance to respond), they will either not reply cos its too high, counter the offer, or accept it. If any accept, put up the buy it now for them. There is no point paying to add a buy it now if no-one is interested at that price.
Obv you may get more money if it runs, but theres no guarantee and amount of watchers does not guarantee bids, there are those out there with similar items that are watching yours just to see how much you get before they decide whether to list or sell private (sad but true).
If you are happy to sell before auction ends then contact your askers with your £300 price and see where it gets you

I didn't think you could do that once the item had bids.0
