Hi,
The power connector to my lappy has given up the ghost and I was wondering if there was any such thing as a charger that will charge via USB?
I have googled and cant find anything so far, was wondering if any of you lot knew.
Thanks

Unlikely. The power provided by a USB port is 5v and you laptop is likely to need a lot more than that.- = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0

depending on the make and model of your laptop you may be able to buy a universal adaptor. I know Tesco do one by Targus as well as PC World. They have interchangeable tips so you can use it to power a variety of different items, (Laptops, mobiles etc)0

PS When you say power connector do you mean the physical adaptor on the laptop or on the power pack0

I mean the actual bit that's on the back of the laptop.
I bought a new lead over the weekend thinking that maybe that was causing the intermittent power charging but it turns out its the connector itself. Apparently they are only about £2 from maplin, will just have to see if my dad can fit it or see how much it would cost to get it fitted by a professionalWork like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0
