Sending item to Italy, what courier shall I use?

I sold a phone which has been won by a trusted eBayer from Italy. He wants me to send it asap, I want the same, I've never sent anything abroad, so, who shall I use? And what are the costs?

Let me know.

Thanks,

-MoE-

How much does it weigh? Check out Royal mail website and send Airsure or Signed for.....depends on weight though.

Send it International Signed For which will cost £3.50 on top of the Air Mail rate. It's the only way you can be sure it's arrived.
    Can I help?

and make sure you pay the extra on International Signed For to raise the insurance level if it's worth over £32.

Yes, a normal Post Office will allow you to send a parcel via International signed-for.

OK. Thanks, I charged the person £7 as I didnt know what the costs will be. I thought it'll be around that if not more, I also messeged the buyer sayin if the postage is more then I'll give the additional costs out of my pocket. Might give the difference back, as i dont like taking money wihtout a good reason.

    Thanks!
