Toys R Us seem to get stock in quite regularly and in fairly large quantities, if there is a Toys R Us in your area they are worth a visit if looking for one, or play.com actually have stock at the moment as well.

I've read through the last 20 pages of this thread and still haven't been able to make up my mind.
Basically I need a new laptop, me previous 2 I have spent over or close to £1000 however they don't last me any more than 2 years (I'm a heavy user...web designer).
I am now looking for something with a substantial hard drive (+ 160bg), a good graphics card, core2duo processor and lightweight
And preferably with a good price tag
Has anyone come across one that might meet my needs ?

hi channy...spot on..i have been thinking of this offer for the last 3 days and i think that i am going to pull the plunge and buy today...the only thing is for slightly over £100 you could increase the processor speed to 2GH, have 128Mb dedicated graphic card and have LED (instead of LCD) screen and a 9 cell battery...i think it is worthed to upgrade....dont forget 5% cashback with quidco0 -

Tesco Direct have a good deal on an Acer at the moment and you get club card points!
Acer Aspire 4315 for £299
Sorry if this has already been mentioned!2010 Wins: Benecol Bag For Life, £150 FCUK Voucher, Rimmel Foundation, L'oreal Mascara, £60 worth of hair products, £100 :j0 -
I agree with the graphics card upgrade, makes for a real bargain with the £50 upgrade to the nVidia card with onboard graphics memory (often only available on top end laptops). That is as long as you are happy to take the power hit - battery life will be noticeably shorter with that graphics card, so you'll probably want to go for the bigger battery in that case.
This Dell one sounds great.Dont understand about upgrading the graphics card, but dont think that matters.
How do l find out about this.ls it on the Dell website, and how do l find out the 10%code? Thanks,Deb.0
