Gateway refurbished laptop from Misco.0 -
That's only worth about £250 brand new, wouldn't pay that much for a refurb one.Morgan have more of the £250 laptops in:

Hi
Which is the best laptop for battery life. My friend has a Dell c600 and the battery only seems to last 10 mins. Is this usual. I 've seen a refurb of this for £250 and was considering it
Sorry if this has been asked before but I tried searching and couldn't find the answer
A big thanx in advanceDon't let the past become your future

Do you have a link?
There is nothing showing on the LIDL website for Chesterfield, and a web search seems to indicate that Targus only make laptop cases and bags, not laptops.====0 -
Not sure if this has been posted already but I was just downloading some print drivers and there's a HP advert for this:
http://h41306.www4.hp.com/itemDetails?SID=298cee12dd41c744452f2ffb1d6bd9fb963:1223&sku=KQ630AA
Operating system installed - Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic
Processor type - Intel Core Duo T2400 / 1.83 GHz ( Dual-Core )
Memory - 1GB
Internal hard disk drive - 120 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm
Optical drive type - DVD±RW (+R double layer) / DVD-RAM
Display size - 15.4" TFT active matrix 1280 x 800 ( WXGA )
Ok it's only vista basic and I don't think it's quite as fast as the core2duo chips, but for £311 inc vat, it looks like a bargain to me. And you can get another 5% off buying through Quidco.
Almost wish I was in the market for a laptop myself0 -

£40 off with this voucher code. HPOPTF
Although i don't think its a Core Duo, its a Celeron. I know it says otherwise in the spec, but when you look at it on this page http://h41306.www4.hp.com/section?SID=c5867192ff5f5d8a70442b642a1e1f58100:1223&secid=47413
it says Celeron and the next model up is a Core Duo. Think there has been a mix up somewhere.0 -
Ah shame. It's not all that special if it's just a celeron.£40 off with this voucher code. HPOPTF

£300 for a celeron laptop is pretty commonly available now. Thought it was too good to be true.0
