Anyone had any problems with The Bathstore?

We have just ordered a full suite from them with delivery expected 30th November due to one item being a very popular sale item.

I called today to pay off the balance and I was told that the toilet system was holding up the delivery till the 7th December (this was not a sale item).

I really want this sorted for Christmas but I'm starting to doubt it now.

Also, what's the quality like?

Excuse my stupid questions but this is my first home and first bathroom!

Items are normally Ok, Have had a lot of damaged items and items which are not fit for purpose so now prefer customers not to use them

There delivery times are a joke....When something arrives damaged dont expect to get it any quicker

Pts and Grahams will offer off the shelf or within 7 day delivery products for around the same price

I ordered a mirrored bathroom cabinet from the Bath Store on 17th October 2009. Received a telephone call from them on 19th October to confirm delivery on Tuesday 27th October. Received another telephone call from CS on Monday 26th OCtober confirming delivery yesterday between 07.30am and 11.00am.

Delivery did not arrive, contacted the store to ask where my cabinet was, uhmm it was not picked on Monday night and is showing nil at the warehouse. Well thank you for the couresty call to say that it was not coming and letting me waste a precious morning with my children during half term waiting in like a fool.

We can arrange to have it delivered next Thursday 5th November. So I could possibly waste yet another morning and still not have the cabinet delivery - no thanks. I actually paid £10 to have this delivered.

This cabinet cost £129 and we were going to spend a further £458 on a vanity unit for our cloakroom. We will now take our business elsewhere.

I cannot believe in this day and age where some companies are crying out for customers some companies treat customers like this.

Just be a bit cautious as they may telephone you the day before delivery confirming everything is hunky dorey for delivery the next day and then the big day arrives and nothing arrives. Good luck

Hmmmm, not liking hearing this! Was hoping to pick a new suite up there. Are most of their products available through PTS and Grahams?!

Yes, I had a positive experience with them. Delivered all items undamaged and on time, managed to get an extra discount plus interest free credit despite "sale" prices having already been applied.

We had a full bathroom suit delivered by Bathstore, on time.

Three items were damaged or failed during/shortly after installation, but they were replaced without any issues.

The quality isn't top notch, but you pay for top notch. The wife has spotted a shower head she likes from a high quality company - £4,000!!!
