monitor calibration- for photographs etc

The spider isnt incredibly accurate but it does do a very good job for the price (using the separate software)
Out of intrigue, how much is the x-rite i1 to buy and can you post links please?
Depending on how many things you want to calibrate (monitors, cameras, printers, scanners) the i1 can start from £800. I would recommend you do search a few shops before you buy as the price varies quite a lot between shops.
Yes the spider is not that good that is why I recoment you either get the very cheap pantone huey or just buy once and care never again with the i1.

For around 80 quid (If you look around) the spyder 3 is 10 times cheaper and has made a hugh difference to my tv and main monitors (And I just disregard the very darkest readings):idea:0
