Just wanted to let any and all money savers know that UPVC Direct are currently in the process of going into administartion/liquidation.
I placed an order with them for this week, and now i need to get my deposit back.
I have some information so if anyone else needs help let me know.
Just to clarify i am a customer, and am currently in the process of getting my money back

looks like the only way to get my money back is through the credit card company0

Hi
Did you not get a deposit indemnity insurance certificate with IPWFI when you paid your deposit - we had a certificate 3 days after paying the deposit.
We had our conservatory built in August 2008 but when we got home today the inside pane of glass of one one of the roof units had smashed. We think we'll now have to go through IPWFI to get someone to come and fix it as we diodn't know they'd gone into liquidation.
Hope you get your money back.0 -
mary,
all got sorted through the credit card company
If anyone needs windows/doors conservatories, i strongly recommend Window Systems - they really came through for me after the whole UPVC Direct debarcle0 -
A bit of a diversion, this one, but I notice that you guys are Preston based. Ever heard of any work done by Creative UPVC based in Fulwood? Thanks.0
