My son plays for a local under 8's football team. We've noticed at alot of matches the parents have raffles and some even have snack bars to raise funds for their teams.

I'd like to do this for my sons team but haver no idea what the legalities are or where to start!

Any advice would be much appreciated.

The only restrictions are on raffles. A raffle can only be held without a licence if the tickets are sold at an event, eg a quiz night or social, and the winners are drawn on the night. There is no restriction on the other activities you mention.
I am assuming there is a treasurere for the team and that all monies will be properly accounted for and that there will be financial controils in place, especially where a lot of cash is involved.
