Refund from Europcar

Hi Everybody,
I'm new to all this, so if I've posted in the wrong place I do apologise, but I need help regarding a refund & I'm getting a bit desperate!
Story goes, we booked a car hire with Europcar to pick up at Bergerac Airport from 5th-8th September, arrived to collect the car, but they wanted €1100 deposit! Been before & have only paid €500 max & therefore didn't have the funds to cover the extra. Lady at the car hire desk said that if I contacted Europcar customer services when I returned home, they would refund the £108.29 that I had already paid for the rental.
Fine, called them on 10th September & was told, that's fine they would process a refund for me & should be in my bank within 7-10 working days.
Got to 8 working days & still no refund in my bank, so called again, to be told that the request had been sent to the wrong department, but would be done again that day. Refund should be in my account with 5-10 working days.
Spoke to them again last Tuesday, 5 working days after the last call, to check whether the refund had been processed, only to be told they were trying to reclaim the money from the French office! Obviously I was extremely annoyed with this, but again, they called me back to say that it would definitely be done that day & I would have the money within 5 working days.
Finally, I checked my bank last Thursday & noticed that instead of refunding £108.29, they had actually taken it from my account again!
After another stressful phone call, I was told by a team leader, that they had in fact debited the money from my account, but realised straight away & refunded both amounts, but that I would still have to wait ANOTHER 7-10 working days for it to clear my account!
Now, because they have taken this extra money I have had a direct debit returned & have been charged £25 by the bank, Europcar have said that they will refund this, but I am still without my refund of £216.58 & £25 that the bank have taken.
Is there anything I can do to get this back any quicker or can I take this any further????
