mercedes a class radio - unlocking
Hi
Girlfriend had her car serviced and it required the radio code. She entered it a few times before being locked out. She then found another card supplied with the car with a different code on it!!!!!!
Have tried leaving the key in and on 1 click etc but it just says wait.
1 any ideas on how to reset it so we can enter the correct code?
2 Howmuch and where can you take it to have it wiped
Thanks
Nick

Normally , to reset a (semi) locked radio , you have to leave it SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to reset itself. This can be many hours (as the waiting time doubles after each wrong code) but normally it is only an hour or two.
If you want your code (if available for free) then post in the Car Radio Unlocking thread found as a "sticky" at the top of this forum page. Quote the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on any LABEL , BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING0 -

Some Mercedes dealers will supply the code for free.If it's the original radio, just quote the VIN.Might help if you buy something at the same time.0
