Ideal winter humidity level for room?

Have a slight problem with green mold appearing underneath bed, inside wardrobe drawers and on bottom of bedroom door, seems to form on untreated pine (bed slats) and hardboard (bottom of drawers).

The bedroom was my son's but he just stated college last month so it is not used at the moment, I have borrowed a humidifier but are unsure what level to set it for the humidity % level?

I have a similar problem, although not as exstensive as yours, in my bedroom. My humidifier goes on for about 3 hours a day and is set to 65%. It's usually at 80% in the morning when I get up and there is thick condensation on the windows.

It seems to have stopped the mould growth.
