Lights for dog collars

Now the days are shorter and I'm exercising the dogs in the dusk/dark, I need some lights for their collars.
I had some really good flashing LED ones but they kept coming unscrewed and the whole bottom section falling out, can anyone recommend any other lights/reflective gear?

I have found the best are these reflective strips of plastic which have a LED embeded inside. The strips are good on their own but the LED makes them be seen even with no other lights around. I got them on Ebay but can not remember who sold them or what they were called. The worse ones are the ones that flash red and blue. They stand out but you feel like your walking a police car.0

I've just bought a little light that attaches to my dogs collar, it's called a Mini Spot Tag. It cost about £4 from Ebay and is water resistant and light activated - so it only lights up at dusk/in the dark. I had the little metal screw ones but found that they kept coming undone.2013: Interflora Vouchers, Christmas Decorations, NNUK goody bag, thermos flask, macwet gloves0

I get mine off ebay

(not my item - honest!)
about £2.50 for light - it takes 3 tiny watch batteries and they last for about a month. I bought a supply of 30 batteries (also from ebay) for about £3 which should last almost a year.
The light is amazingly bright.0 -
I found a plastic bone shape in the pound shop that flashes a bright red light. It work brilliant when we were camping.... esp when u have a black dog in the dark! xI'm getting married in August 2015:j0

I've seen the light up/reflective straps for young children, all depends what type of dog it is, could these be adapted to fit.
You can get reflective tape quite cheaply which you could stick on to the collar. If you want a sample of the tape op let me know.0 -
we also have the mini-spot tag for our all black dog.
so far (2 weeks) it has held up - which is quite good for her and for the light.
i saw them the other day in pets at home for about 5 quid.
the other ones which have failed for some reason or another are :
twisty red/white/blue silver bullet things
flashing dog collar with battery pack
blue plastic flasher that presses on and off
in addition to the flashy tag, we also just have a reflective material collar. luckily we dont go off lead near roads, and the flashing lights are more so i know where she is, and not to scare everyone when she suddenly barks or runs up to them.0
