Car Wont Start - how do i get it to garage?

the garage i need to take my car to, doesnt do recovery. they suggested i use a friend/relative who has breakdown cover, and use that to get myself towed in, but i dont know anyone who has this their next suggestion was to get a tow, but i dont know anyone who has a large enough car to be able to tow mine ive tried…

Yeah I would expect total failure with the car not running at all so there would be the starter motor turning, but no spark to get the engine going. One issue I'm aware of is that on some cars if the voltage regulator goes dodgy and after the smells produced from overcharging the battery it can take out the ECU before the fuse pops to protect it.
