If the oil has been changed regularly I wouldn't have a care in the world. Most people who think they know about cars know absolutely nothing.0

I would be more concerned about having to pay £50 to repair a car before even buying it, if a dealer wasn't prepared to repair that at his/her own cost, what hopes for any warranty repairs?0

Top advice! Oil changes are vital, do it regularly with good quality oil & you can get mega miles out of an engine.Pew_Pew_Pew_Lasers! wrote: »If the oil has been changed regularly I wouldn't have a care in the world. Most people who think they know about cars know absolutely nothing.
60000 miles, even for a small engine, isn't a lot if it's been looked after.Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
Depending on where you are, wellsmart or sussex cars will be able to look after you

Thanks for all your replies ..
I was very fortunate .. I telephoned the dealer this morning and asked whether I could pull out of the purchase because of my concerns with the high mileage .. I also said that I would pay the £50.00 for the dent repair, because when I rang the guy was already there doing the job. Phew, im relieved and very lucky that the salesman was a thouroughly decent guy.
With all the information you have armed me with, I shall now do some proper research and hopefully will find the perfect little Smart Car very soon
Some days I wake up Grumpy ... Other days I let him lie in.0 -
It isn't high mileage. Mine is at 233,000 miles - that's high mileage.0
