    Snap :j.....

Jimbow, previously I used different cashback sites and got cashbacks for each issue, atm only Quidco have this so please keep the thread updated re your double application.
I will do - but there is no sign of the tracking yet (opened it 2 weeks ago) and Quidco says I cannot open an enquiry until 60 days have passed. So it could be a lengthy process by the time it finally gets validated and paid.

Exactly same boat - I signed up on the 10th, I never got an e-mail from A&L, but they sent me a letter and I have access now to online banking. I funded it with £1000, but no tracking on Quidco yet.

Same here, no tracking yet on Quidco and cannot query it yet.

Did you clear your cookies before going through Quidco? I've never had to wait more than a day (normally after a few hours) for anything to track on Quidco.

Yes I did clear my cookies though this is my 2nd possible enquiry if the pastfew months (the other was for a mobile phone). I am relieved to hear I am not the only one in this position has anyone had issue 6 track on quidco yet?
  • If you haven't had your a £20.00 added to your account, I would query it with Quidco.
    Thanks!
I've tried to submit a query - but I'm in the same boat as "jimbow25". 60 days haven't passed yet. I need to wait another 2 days before I can start a query.

Yes, I cleared my cookies and all temporary internet files and am a very very frequent user of Quidco and have had no problems in the past.

Am starting to wish I had opened Issue 5 when it came out instead of Issue 6, as it seems that there have been fewer problems with 5. :(

Quick questions, as I can only open an Enquiry after 60 days, do I have to retain the £1,000 balance until my claim is resolved? That kind of defeats the purpose of being instant access and is a bit sneaky.
  • I've submitted my enquiry today. Now my Quidco account shows
    22 Aug 2009 09:34:15 Alliance and Leicester: Savings Account 1001.00 20.00 pending
    22 Aug 2009 09:30:00 Alliance & Leicester Current Accounts 0.00 0.00 received ~ Oct 2009
However, I've never applied for a Current Account through Quidco. I can only guess that the tracking system did not work properly and tracked my savings account application as current account application. By the way, the 1001.00 is my initial deposit. It is sitting in my savings account until I'll (hopefully) get the cashback.

For others who need to submit an enquiry: you need to provide your account number and postal address.

Sorry to keep you all in suspense:

I've had my cashback validated on Issue 6 now. So this outcome says that:

If you opened the Online Saver Issue 5 through Quidco and got the £20 cashback you can do the same with Issue 6 and get another £20 from Quidco.

Which is good. If only they didn't amke you wait 60 days to launch an enquiry. 'Topcashback' also offer this now so maybe no-one cares whether you can get 'double bubble' with Quidco, but there it is anyway! £20 won't change the world but it'll make a nice bonus on the interest I get.

    Roll on Issue 7 :)
