Bus pass swap for taxi tokens?

My Mum's sister has just turned 60 but instead of getting a bus pass opted for taxi tokens. Mum already has a bus pass as she's on HRM (she isn't 60 yet) but can she swap her bus pass for this taxi scheme.
Never head of anything like this before so hope someone here has.

oo i've never heard of this before.. i'd like to know too, sometimes the bus isnt an option for me but a taxi can

Where I live those who recieve High Rate DLA Mobility or War Pensioners Mobility Supplement can buy taxi vouchers from the local authority at 50% of the cost (ie buy £30.00 worth of taxi vouchers for £15.00) and you keep your free bus pass as well.

It seems to depend on your local authorities policy as it varies across the country.

So you are best speaking with your local authority who issue bus passes etc.
