Show only ebay feedback for the product you need
HiMany
When buying unbranded, or non-oem products from eBay, you normally would like to know some things about the quality of the product itself. Unfortunately, there's no way on eBay to get feedback for past items that had the same item name, or were at least similar. I thought if that feature was there, it would help a lot, so I created this site that does just that: feedbackselector.com
Simply enter the seller ID (name) and keywords from the item name, or the whole item name if you want, and it will do the filtering for you and show you what you need.
Btw, if you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know.

Sorry if this seems negative, but In my experience the majority of feedback comments tend to comment on the seller rather than the product.
You would also need to assume that either the same seller has sold the product previously, or there are other sellers currently selling the same product.
If you simply need information on a product, do you really need a seller id?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I agree with you that most of the feedback is about the seller, however there's still a good part of it that talks about the item, epecially when the item is only being sold by that seller.
Regarding the second question, I did it that way mainly, because if you were to include items from different sellers, they will probably be different items, of different qualities. The idea of the site is to show whether a specific item from a specific seller is worth buying. I could look into allowing the user not to enter a seller ID in the future, however it would probably have to be a different service, as both the way it works, and the results it would give would be totally different.0
