    If you are in Inverness, worth taking a drive through to Dornoch when you are this far up anyway. Pity you don't have longer - there's a lot of lovely places to see up here. Have a lovely time.

    In Aviemore there is a great wee cafe along the ski road that features in birdwatch, its straight after loch morlich on the right before the caravan park and has sledges outside through the back in the cafe they feed the birds constantly outside the window at eye level and often red squirrel appear too its great we also go they also have a small dry ski slope and you can hire grass sledges.
