I spent 27p on 3 onions from the local shop this morning for my beef stew in the slow cooker.
DH bought 4 pints of milk this morning too while walking the dogs, not sure how much - about 1.50 I should think. That should be all for today.0 -
Day off for me today, am resisting the urge to go for a walk around in the town, I know its to cure the boredom and actually leave the house today but I'll end up spending money on something Im sure!
Hoping today will be first no spend day in quite some time. I keep thiknking I've managed one and then I suddenly remember where some money went, and its always on really pointless things!
Have just hoovered and put second load of washing on.As I dont have garden I'm trying to make full use of nice soft breeze blowing through flat to dry my clothes as much as possible, whilst its not too much of a chill.
Am now running round emptying out the bins in the flat, in between writing on here obviously. Not much else planned for my day really.Off to make some lunch shortly and then my time is my own (which is when it all gets a bit scary!)Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Edit: um, nearly £6 on groceries, esp chocolate...Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -
Right, i'll post in the right thread now! I need to buy a stamp and some flora this afternoon. BUT i'm banking some money from the change jar and a cheque that arrived today that i'll pay off the credit card. Also gave someone a free massage treatment today in return for one next week so saving money all round! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!January budget

£8 something in Asda but it was not all food. Need some new pruners and ice packs for cool bags. The rest was making cakes and stuff. So we stop going out and buying them.
And then it pained me to write a check for £625  That was to pay for a drop curb to be put in. But it is worth every single penny. As it means when we come home after being out we have somewhere to park now :j Well will in a couple of days when the concrete is set.
Now need to find the money to have the graden dug up and gravelled. Think we better save up for that.
Yours
