I havent seen or heard anything about this. ask your friend for the source he heard it from. If they did it only took them 4 years to do it, they will start going the route of playstation and why it is so popular. built it wireless, HD Output, blu-ray all as standard.
The Xbox 360 is more popular than the Playstation 3.
The console without HD and Blu-ray, the Nintendo Wii, is the most popular.

he will need to already have a hotmail email address for the registration process. i dont know if it still works but when the free month comes to an end if he starts a new gamer tag with new details(hotmail address etc) he will get another free month. i managed to get 3 free months before their system caught up. the downside is the gamerscore will restart form zero and he will ahev to tell hsi friends.
ps if you do this you dont have to delete the old gamertag coz you can have as many gamertags registered on your console as you like. well there maybe a limit i guess but you wont reach it.0 -

i could be totally wrong here but could they be getting mixed up? could they be thinking of the project natal thingy that i think is expected next year. thats nothing to do with playing online that is a new way of playing the games. its basically like the wii controller but a million times more advanced i think. someone wil be able to describe it better.0 -

Yer i was going for the more Acutal decent gaming console. One that i can say that i have without regretting it. Although the wii is good , its more of a family console. i should correct myself though . i meant "why it is becoming a popular console"
Yes at the moment the xbox is more popular then the playstation , but the playstation is the more cost affective console. 2 things you have to buy Console and Game. Xbox - Console , Game , Xbox Live (Yearly) , Wireless Adaptor(optional) and a battery pack (optional). 3 Extra Items. On average a extra £100. Plus The Console , whats it now £130 plus a £40 game = £280. or if you can get a decent game chucked in £230 . PS3 with decent game £250. with no yearly subscription. It wont take long before people change.Peter: Hey Lois... what's this word? Lois: Evil. Peter: And this one? Lois: Knievel. Peter: And this one? Lois: Was. Peter: And this one? Lois: Born.
