Do Barclays issue cards other than Barclaycard?

Just done a routine check of my credit history with Experian and it came back showing a settled account for a Barclaycard but as far as I know I've never had a Barclaycard or indeed any dealings whatsoever with Barclays.

A few years back I did a lot of stoozing so had loads of cards (but never a Barclaycard) so I'm just wondering if one of the cards I did have was actually operated by Barclays and I hadn't realised at the time.

Does anyone know which cards they issue besides Barclaycard?

  • Have you checked there site the do lots of different cards but I think they now all fall under the barclays umbrella such as the goldfish card which from memory was a stand alone product when it came out.

    Currently, Argos and Skycard.

Once upon various times they took over cards branded as Goldfish, Monument, Morgan Stanley and Providian

Morgan Stanley - that will be it. I remember having one of those and can't recall a separate entry for it in the Experian report.

    Thanks.

Don't apply for a skycard... actually I don't suppose they are taking applications anyway. My OH had one and apparently Sky have cancelled their deal with Barclays or something. We received new gold Barclaycards and were told to cut up our skycards.

And also Leeds Building Society which seems to offer a decent spread of benefits, being as it has:

6 months 0% interest on purchases
    0.5% cashback on those purchases
5.9% interest on LOB transfers (2% fee applies)

Of course you shouldn't mix 'n' match the purchases with the LOB deal.
