Paint mistake

i'd carry on with the string colour - even though you don't like it (I had it in old house and love it) it will look 100 times classier to a seller than cheap white silk
I agree - Farrow and Ball paint Vs cheap emulsion - no contest.
*I've just had a quick look at the F&B website and 10 litres is well over £100!!

I think you may as well paint at least one wall in the Farrow and Ball anyway. Reasoning being that you've bought it, you can't take it back and if you don't like the colour you won't want to use it in your own house. I agree with the people that say a lot of buyers would prefer to see that to stark white, which to my mind always looks like a cheap makeover job.0

I do like the colour, it's just the wrong tone for the tan leather furniture (family room) It does look a lot better now the whole wall is covered.
I bought silk as it's cleanable but on your advise will return it. I'll keep the F&B for my next place.
White does look good, believe me though not bright white. This house is a large open plan design in the main and with pale sofas, and mahogany doors works well. Think English Country House.
Thanks for all help, I've made a note of the crown whites.0 -
